Overview:
GENYOUth is pleased to offer schools and organizations an opportunity to apply for GENYOUTH’s NFL FLAG-In-School Kit, valued at $440. Each Kit includes a welcome letter, 10 footballs, 50 flag belts, a ball pump, and a printed copy of the curriculum. Digital copies of the curricula, as well as additional digital and dual language resources, are also available and can be found on the NFL FLAG and NFL FLAG-In-School webpages. The purpose of GENYOUth’s NFL FLAG-In-School Kit is to provide physical education teachers in elementary, middle, and high school, as well as community-based organizations with before-and after-school programs for students, with flag football equipment and national standards-based curricula. The Kit was developed for use in physical education class, but it is encouraged to be used before and after school as well.
Process:
- Complete and submit the online application by May 13, 2025.
NOTE: You may want to download and review this sample application PDF before accessing it online. - Applications are subject to verification by GENYOUth before Kit recipients are selected.
- GENYOUth reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify application entries.
- The applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of decisions via email.
- Kits are expected to ship in the fall of 2025.
Eligibility:
- Adults registered at accredited elementary, middle and high schools (schools serving students in grades K-12) and Community Based Organizations are eligible to apply to receive a Kit on behalf of their schools/organizations.
- Home schools are not eligible to apply at this time.
- The correct School District EIN/Federal Tax ID must be submitted.
- Schools/organizations awarded a Kit will be required to use the Kit to start or grow a flag football program in PE class or during before or after school programming.
- Awarded schools/organizations may be required to provide feedback on the Kit’s use in the future via an online survey.
- Each applicant must agree and acknowledge that he or she is applying to receive a Kit on behalf of his or her school/organization, that the Kit will be the property of his or her school/organization, and that the Kit will be for school/organization use only.
- Preference will be given to physical education teachers in Title 1 schools and community-based organizations serving high need populations.
- Applications noting a PO Box as the shipping address will be disqualified.
